What is Manga?

Manga is a term for comic books or graphic novels originally produced from Japan. They are almost always published in black and white color scheme, only some special editions are printed in full-color, but this is very rare. Manga is read from right to left, which is completely oposite to English publications. Most manga are long-running series and the story unfolds chronologically, so the best jumping point for a new reader is always in issue 1.
